At Mission Hospital, we are dedicated to healing the whole person: mind, body, and spirit. Our Rehabilitation Services include physical, occupational, and speech therapy.   Outpatient services for adults include sports specific injury treatment, hand therapy and occupational rehabilitation with functional capacity evaluation, work hardening, lymphedema management, wound care, women’s health, pelvic floor and neurological conditions.  Outpatient services for pediatric patients include treatment for orthopedic rehab, developmental testing and treatment, cognitive rehab, hand therapy and sensory integration. We also provide inpatient rehabilitation for adults on all the inpatient units and for neonates and pediatrics at CHOC Children’s at Mission Hospital.

We treat an average of 150 patients daily, and perform an average of 12,000 procedures per month using an interdisciplinary approach in treatment planning and provision. As a committed rehabilitation professional, you will live out our mission in a unique clinical setting which features:

Physical & Occupational Therapy
You will play an integral role in achieving immediate and effective results for your patients.  Working in a highly collaborative environment, your input will be valued, your skills recognized and your contributions rewarded. You will also have the opportunity to provide coverage for both inpatient and outpatient services.

Speech Therapy
As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will provide progressive treatment to individuals at all age levels. Our Acute Rehabilitation Unit serves a large and diverse neuro-based adult population and is consistently ranked among the top 10% in the nation for positive results. Our outpatient rehabilitation services also rank among the very best with specialty certifications for brain injury and stroke. To qualify, you will need a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, CA licensure and CPR certification.

Acute Rehabilitation Unit
The Acute Rehabilitation Unit is a 21-bed unit, which is CARF accredited in both comprehensive inpatient rehabilitation, traumatic brain injury, medical inpatient rehabilitation and stroke. Services include:
