ARU (Acute Rehabilitation Unit)
is a 21-bed unit, which is CARF accredited in comprehensive inpatient rehabilitation, traumatic brain injury, medical inpatient rehabilitation and stroke. Services include Rehabilitation Nursing, Psychology/Neuropsychology Services and Social Services.

Bender Birthing Suites (Labor, Delivery, and Antepartum Unit)
consists of 12 LDRP suites, two operating rooms, a three-bed post-anesthesia care unit (PACU), a three-bed evaluation room and a five-bed high-risk antepartum unit with five licensed LDRP beds. Advanced technology includes a centralized fetal surveillance system.

Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU)
features 27 all-private rooms and provides care for critically ill adult and geriatric patients with cardiac, pulmonary or medical-surgical diagnoses who require intensive care. We provide compassionate caring for surgical cardiac patients, pulmonary arterial hypertension patients, sepsis patients, patients requiring hemodynamic monitoring or experiencing multi-system failure.

Care Management
is responsible for all utilization management and discharge planning for patients at our Mission Viejo and Laguna Beach campuses. Here, nurses and social workers collaborate to coordinate services post-discharge for patients and their families.

Cartel (Cardiac Telemetry Unit)
provides care to adult patients with cardiac, pulmonary, or medical diseases and/or surgical patients. We care for patients post CABG and other cardiac surgery. We also manage the care of patients with CHF, PAH, chest pain, post MI among other diagnosis. It is a 34-bed unit with eight designated progressive care beds.

Medical/Surgical/Oncology Unit (3 West is a 34-bed unit that provides care to acutely ill adult/geriatric medical, surgical, oncology, and gynecology patients. The unit offers great clinical variety, from basic medical surgical patients to highly complex and acute oncology patients. Specialty services include palliative care and chemotherapy administration.

Medical Telemetry Unit is licensed for 45 beds. Patients admitted or transferred to this unit include adult medical patients with a medical primary diagnosis requiring telemetry monitoring with no need for an intensive or progressive level of care.

Moiso Mother-Baby Suites (Obstetrical Unit)
features 20 private rooms and three semi-private patient rooms. This unit provides specialized, high-quality nursing care to the mother-baby couplet in a family-centered setting where rooming-in is encouraged.

Progressive Care and Stroke Unit (PCSU) is a 24-bed unit that provides care to adult patients with neurological, cardiac, pulmonary or medical diseases. This includes patients with neurological diseases including transient ischemic attacks, acute stroke, post-traumatic brain injury patients, and complex spinal cord surgery.

Same Day Care Unit
provides care for the chest pain patient population and for cardiac outpatient pre and post procedures as well as other observation patients. There are currently 35 patient treatment spaces designated for same day care procedures.

Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU)
uses advanced technology and nurse-driven protocols to care for critically injured multisystem trauma patients. You’ll be part of an award-winning team in a state-of-the-art environment that includes specialty beds, monitoring columns, communication system and computerized charting.

Surgical/Ortho/Trauma Unit (3 East) is a 34-bed unit that provides adult surgical, orthopedic, trauma, and neurological care. In this unit, ortho and med/surg certified nurses provide care to a diverse patient population with a variety of diagnoses in a highly collaborative and supportive setting.

Behavioral Health Unit
is a 28-bed unit designed to provide acute intensive and short-term treatment for diagnoses found in the current DSM manual, including dual diagnosis.

Intensive Care Unit (ICU) is a 10-bed critical care unit that provides care to adult patients with surgical or medical disease who are acutely ill or injured or recuperating from diagnostic or therapeutic intervention requiring advanced levels of invasive monitoring.

Medical/Surgical Telemetry Unit is a 31-bed unit created for medical and surgical patients who may have a medical primary diagnosis requiring telemetry monitoring, with no need for an intensive or progressive level of care.
